Lana De Rey Interviewed by Eoghan McDermott on London's XFM Radio in January 2012

This is from this LDRU post:

McDermott now works for RTE in Ireland. In this Irish Independent interview he mentions the trauma of a random assault on 26th December 2016 which left him permanently without any sense of taste or smell. "The culprits were never found. 'They had the assault on CCTV, two attackers,' he says now, 'too far away to identify. They were picked up by a taxi man and one of the assailants had cut himself in the attack and bled on the taxi seat, so the gardai have his DNA, so if he gets arrested in the future for something else, they could get him then. The taxi dropped them off at an estate in Liffey Valley, but he doesn't know where they went from there." The interview was published a few days before Comic Relief 2020. Well, ... you know comedy, ... it refuses to let itself be boxed in and keeps bleeding out into the margins.

Here's the fragment of the interview where Lana talks about how "Video Games" was received at first:

See Happy Birthday Chuck Grant.
