José Guadalupe Villar Soto
Here's a humorous poem he read to a musical accompaniment on a churango. It's about a man dying and being beaten over the head with a plank by a woman whilst eating tamales, ... That's all I understood of his description. I am still not fluent in Mexican!
He also showed me their collection of instruments from the Americas.
From the video description:
José Guadalupe Del Villar Soto with a collection of charangos and guitars from the Americas. Look for their Facebook page which has more photos: Guadalupe de Villar, Tecate, México.
Charangos are not made this way anymore in Bolivia because armadillos, ... well, ... I have eaten one, and they're delicious, but that's a whole different story, ....
