David Lynch's Weather Report
See my comment:
Good morning David. I am still on line! This morning I was watching this in a cyber place and reading the auto-generated subtitles which told me that we'd be having those beautiful blues guys and golden sunshine. So I listened to The Blue's Brothers "Sweet Home Chicago" because it was the first thing that came up. I also wrote a pre-weather report on paper after taking my morning coffee by the tracks, ...
Here it is:
Today I went to a spot I found yesterday a little way along the tracks of the railroad from Tecate to Tijuana. I noticed that the tracks were all made during World War II. They carry dates from 1939 to 1945. Some were made in Illinois and some in Colorado. The place I was sitting was close to some vacant lots of land between CEART and the railway line. On the other side, there is a vacant plot with a stand of eucalyptus trees. Sitting on a granite rock in the shade of some other trees, I began to think of a course I would like to develop, teaching mathematics and computation at the same time, using applications to Art and representation in general. I thought about representation of color and movement and solution of differential equations. I also thought about Jade's community announcement of a "Fourier transform Swiss army knife" video. I thought about Livia's deep belief in vibrational frequencies and her Technocolor project, and how we could use Fourier series to represent vibrational frequencies of sound and light to synthesize functional relationships representing substance. Just now I remembered the "Intelligente" men in Cochabamba, and a joke I made about them dragging their trunks along the road between the legs and then I remembered all the fantasies I had about Banco Fuerte and "el banco de los elefantes" and drunks and the new building behind Jaguar House which I imagined first be the new United Nations with with a cluster of 20 IBM system 370 mainframes, then I replaced them each with a Raspberry Pi cluster configured as a dodecahedron with tesseracts at each node. Last night I thought of Jaguar house Natalie who kissed me on the cheek in Cochabamba [Google thinks I said "cut your number"!] early in 2016 and who I once saw wearing a fetching pink hat, as if she was on her way to Ascot. Natalie went to Colombia shortly after that. I also thought of the three Mormon sisters. Sister Odoñia, sister Gutierrez and the another, from Ecuador, whom I met in Cochabamba around April 2016. I thought about our investigation and the Mormons and my asking them to help me contact my daughter. I remember singing Wayfaring Stranger for them and the Colombian sister and the phone call from someone called Natalie.
