That's the whole problem with capitalism. You can make money out of any damned thing, and it doesn't need to have any real value. Employ people to dig holes in the roads and fill them up again, or employ people to make smartphones and employ others to write stupid software that makes them useless, or employ people to make other people sick and employ others to cure them, or employ people to destroy cities and countries and employ people to rebuild them afterwards, or employ people to burn coal in power stations and then employ people to build giant offshore windfarms to replace the electricity produced by coal. None of it matters, because the money isn't real and isn't a measure of value, it's just a measure of waste. In the end you wind up employing people to destroy planets and employing others to go to new planets to live, ... It's all bullshit.
