But that's ass-backwards, I think. You're letting the hype drive the runaway train. Why not learn to develop inherently secure software and systems instead? I think the answer is "because we're spending all the money on AI".

Using Pipewire to Make A Music Synthesizer

Usually you don't notice, but if you play a pure sine tone then you can easily hear the distortion. If you want to play with pipewire from C on Ubuntu 24.04 then it's really easy. The pipewire tutorials and examples can be compiled and run if you just first install the pipewire-0.3-dev package with sudo apt install libpipewire-0.3-dev But the API is sooo far away from pluggable, typed streams that I find it quite depressing.
