Hackers Sabotage Water Supply in FL

Amazingly bad reporting in all the stories I checked. The BBC was the only one I found that even got close to the problem, but they still didn't explain what allowed the remote access. I am guessing it was just a mis-configured 'remote system administration' facility on some version of Microsoft Windows. All the stories say something like 'the operator spotted the changed setting and changed it back' and quote the guy at the plant saying 'the public was never in danger', but none of them say whether anybody bothered to take any steps to stop that hacker or others from doing the same thing again. So were the public never in any danger? Or are they still in mortal danger?

As to Lori's question "Who is to blame?" Well, I would say it's everybody except me! 😀❤💓💕
