Red Wolves

Just like us, wolves have their own individual personalities, which means that some hold grudges a little bit longer than others. Although we don't know why Charlotte is in the "dog house,"  she's absolutely adorable as she tries to win back Jack's attention and affection.

The red wolf is the world’s most endangered wolf species. As of April 2021, only ten red wolves are known to remain in the wild. Both Jack and Charlotte represent the Wolf Conservation Center’s participation in the active effort to save their species from extinction.

The Wolf Conservation Center (WCC), a 501c3 non-profit organization in South Salem, NY,  is one of a network of facilities participating in the Red Wolf Species Survival Plan - a national initiative whose primary purpose is to support the reestablishment of red wolves in the wild through captive breeding, public education, and research.
