... and when they read it they decided some of their readers wouldn't like it and it wasn't published.
What does this mean? Does it mean that there is no place for personal opinions in objective science? Or just that there's no place for the wrong sort of personal opinions? Is there not a danger that readers of APS journals may now start forming their own opinions about the editors and their objectivity?
