Apparently some people don't believe they could work in space, ... Here she's explaining it in terms of pressure which one can visualise. You could argue from conservation of momentum, but that is not easy to visualise as a force. I never doubted it because I once saw a film of a guy sitting on a wheelchair and throwing a heavy ball away from himself, and I saw the resulting force acting on the chair and pushing him backwards, ...

What I'd like to see is an explanation of the mechanics of a helium baloon floating around a closed room, ...

That might explain the murals I mention in my recent untitled post , just before the post mentioning this video. I also just took this photo of Rafael Gonzales, born here in Tecate, B.C., who told me about a spring near here called Agua Fría , half way from Tecate to Loma Tova , where, a few decades ago, people used to go to have barbecues and stuff, but now he thinks it may be private land.
