John Schneider on George Stephanopoulos' Interview With Alec Baldwin
Baldwin claims not to have pulled the trigger when the gun fired the fatal shot. But he later admits that he was practicing drawing and firing before that happened. I suppose one could practice firing a gun without pulling the trigger,... But it is hard to understand what use that would be, ... In other words, it's hard to see what he means when he says he was practicing firing the gun without pulling the trigger. Isn't this the sort of thing that a cross-examination ofa defendant should be about? I guess Baldwin hasn't been charged yet, ... He could be being forced to lie to cover up sabotage, but then he would be opening himself up to a charge of conspiring to pervert the course of Justice.
