That's how I felt the first time I met Rachel, but we did meet again and went climbing with friends, and cycling and swimming from Grantchester to Cambridge (but she was swimming the other way, so we didn't see much of each other that day) and we even went to hear an Easter Bach choral concert (The St. John Passion, maybe) at Kings' College together.
