Maggie Reviewing Megalopolis

I went to see this last night, and when the lights came back on the person I went with said "What the f*ck did we just see?!" It was bizarre, but not in a bad way at all. If you imagine a US election where the Mayor of NYC is also being elected at the same time, somehow, and at the same time Empire is collapsing, but it was all written by Shakespeare on Ketamine, ... maybe you get the feel. The film also seemed slightly schizophrenic in the direction, cutting between Caesar's grandiose schemes and a gang of precocious and highly intelligent cheerleaders who were manipulating things behind the scenes. (See Wisteria) I think I need Maggie to make sense of this:
