I also watched some of this Chris Hedges interview with Yasha Levine on his book Surveillance Valley: The Secret Military History of the Internet. He's very awkward and not very convincing. He says they were ingesting lots of data. I don't think he knows what he is talking about. You can get Theodore Roszak's 1986 book The Cult of Information on The Internet Archive.

I also just took this photo of Rafael Gonzales, born here in Tecate, B.C., who told me about a spring near here called Agua Fría , half way from Tecate to Loma Tova , where, a few decades ago, people used to go to have barbecues and stuff, but now he thinks it may be private land.
