Sabine Hossenfelder on CERN's Mega-collider Plans and Becoming Hated


My comment: People don't do particle physics because it's interesting, they just do it to earn a living. The reason it's not interesting is so many people in the field are only doing it to earn a living. I don't know what anyone can do about that, since everybody thinks it's very important to earn a living. It seems ridiculous to me.
