Private Eye Interview - Toxic lead in the UK: Laura Hughes, Financial Times - Paul Foot Award Nominee 2025

My comment:
If she gets bored with lead then she can look into mildew and mold. It might be a refreshing change to deal with wholly organic toxins. Then if that gets boring, there's the wheat thing. Tesco are doing an amazing Aldi price match to make people feel rich when they buy two pounds of disgusting fusili for only £1.25. Then she could write about shrinkflation which is when people spend more on personal therapy than they do on their groceries.
This is the sort of thing Professor Sir John Bell ought to be interested in, but he's probably too busy: UK NHS Sponsored Charity "Our Future Health".
