I wonder where this is going? Somebody should get these things onto a film set, with a Foucault pendulum made of a one ton ball of lead suspended from the ceiling of Notre Dame and half a dozen Caesium clocks stationed around the perimeter, ... see if Napoleon III turns up, ...
