And after making that I was reading Wade Davis' book One River and I read this description of Richard Evans Schultes' in Oaxaca, Mexico, looking for the original "Magic Mushrooms" teonanácatl. It's a really superb book. For the first time in ages I am getting into trouble staying up too late because I can't stop reading. He is a really great writer.
