They're aborting their trip because there's no public transport except for the buses, and due to gasoline shortages the bus fares have doubled or in some cases tripled during fiestas.

They're in Magdalena, on the Rio Itonomas about 80 Km from the frontier with Brazil. They got there two days ago:

 

A few weeks ago there was an amazing son et lumière show in the Parque de la Familia in Cochabamba:
