Ubuntu Linux is Beyond Broken

They are aiming at making it usable for everybody!

What program crashed? What's in the core dump? Who cares?

I wonder about Raspberry Pi too. Their Raspberry Pi Connect:

Raspberry Pi Connect gives you free, simple, out-of-the-box access to your Raspberry Pi from anywhere in the world. It is a secure remote access solution for Raspberry Pi OS, allowing you to connect to your Raspberry Pi desktop and command line directly from any browser.

This is a way to allow you to make a peer-to-peer connection between two machines when both peers agree to do so by connecting to the same central server, without either peer having a well-known name or having to listen for incoming connections. Only when both peers have a simultaneous connection to the same central server can they establish a direct connection.

I haven't tried it, because for some reason I don't understand, it requires you to enable auto-login on your machine for it to work. But why? When you couple this with the fact that by default Raspberry Pi OS sets up the sudo command to allow the user to run commands with superuser privileges without prompting for a password then you have potentially millions of Raspberry Pis around the world all not requiring any authentication of any form to execute any commands whatsoever.  Then when you consider that these machines are usually on the inside of firewalls and have access to the administrative interface of the routers they're behind, you can't help but wonder. See Alice's Adventures on the Internet, Continued, ...
