On the Watergate connection with Kennedy and The Cuban Missile Crisis, see Guerilla Logic. I like Oliver Stone, as a person, but his analysis of this whole thing is from a very conventional patriarchic point of view. There is another way of looking at the history of the Twentieth Century. See these posts, in particular Monroe Khrushchev 1959 Monroe Kennedy 1962, Polly Boiko on A Company That Apparently Only Existed to Provide Opportunities for Ugly Men to Grope Beautiful Women and the whole of that Guerilla Logic text, which I should just publish as a book exactly as it stands now. But I would probably be sued by Brad Pitt and a whole bunch of aliens, not to mention Angelina Jolie's cat, ....

I also just took this photo of Rafael Gonzales, born here in Tecate, B.C., who told me about a spring near here called Agua Fría , half way from Tecate to Loma Tova , where, a few decades ago, people used to go to have barbecues and stuff, but now he thinks it may be private land.
